Chakras are wheels of energy align through your body. Kundalini focuses the energy path through seven of these chakras, six which reside in the body (Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, & Third eye) and one residing right above your head known as your Crown Chakra.

Root Chakra:

Day of the week: Monday

Color: Red

Location: Base of the spine

Crystals (wear, carry, or meditate with): Garnet, Hematite, Red Calcite, Jasper

Food & Drinks: Red potatoes, red beans or lentils, radishes, beets, rooibos or hibiscus tea, dandelion root tea.

Sacral Chakra:

Day of the week: Tuesday

Color: Orange

Location: Just below the belly button

Crystals: Amber, Carnelian, Peach Moonstone, Orange Calcite

Food & Drinks: Carrots, orange peppers, oranges, calendula tea with orange peel and a pinch of turmeric.

Solar Plexus Chakra:

Day of the week: Wednesday

Color: Yellow

Location: Upper abdomen

Crystals: Citrine, Topaz, Yellow Tiger's Eye, Sunstone

Food & Drinks: Bananas, melons, olive oil, cinnamon, rosemary, chamomile tea, water with lemon.

Heart Chakra:

Day of the week: Thursday

Color: Green or Pink

Location: Center of the chest

Crystals: Emerald, Rose Quartz, Peridot, Green Kyanite

Food & Drinks: leafy greens, sweet apples, raw pumpkin seeds, aloe juice, hawthorn, rose, or jasmine tea.

Throat Chakra:

Day of the week: Friday

Color: Sky blue

Location: Base of the throat

Crystals: Lapis, Sodalite, Celestine, Blue Kyanite

Food & Drinks: Blueberries, blackberries, plums, broths, red clover, lemon balm, slippery elm, or marshmallow root tea.

Third Eye Chakra:

Day of the week: Saturday

Color: Indigo

Location: Between the brows

Crystals: Lapis, Amethyst, Sunset Sodalite

Food & Drinks: Goji berries, eggplant, purple cabbage, plums, water, açaí, grape juice, eyebright tea.

Crown Chakra:

Day of the week: Sunday

Color: White or Violet

Location: Just above the top of the head

Crystals: Quartz (all Quartz crystal), Herkimer, Selenite, Moonstone

Food & Drinks: Yogurt, nuts, seeds, almond, sesame, sea salt, lavender or lotus tea.
